English followsDans un geste de réciprocité, le MAC LAU lui consacre cette exposition. En 2003, le musée amorce le développement de sa collection en établissant des ententes avec les artistes de la région afin de favoriser la rétention des œuvres sur le territoire. Reynald Connolly a contribué de manière importante à l’essor de la collection, qui compte aujourd’hui trente de ses œuvres. Sa contribution artistique pour la région des Laurentides et plus largement dans l’histoire de l’art au Québec demeure significative.

This memorial exhibition highlights Les Empreintes, the most recent body of work by artist Reynald Connolly, as well as artist books. Between gesture, writing, and color, his work explores identity, traces, and time. Engaging with poetry, it asserts a sensitive and lasting presence.
In a reciprocal gesture, the MAC LAU is dedicating this exhibition to the artist. In 2003, the museum began developing its collection by establishing agreements with local artists to encourage the retention of works within the region. Reynald Connolly made a significant contribution to the growth of the collection, which now includes thirty of his works. His artistic contribution to the Laurentians region and, more broadly, to the history of art in Quebec remains significant.
